Financially attractive
The operating principle of the reactor not only has environmental benefits, but also is financially attractive,
because waste streams do not need to be dewatered, waste processors do not need to invest in dewatering facilities.
When the total costs of different processing methods for waste streams are compared, it becomes evident that
the Providentia Wet oxidation process will be a profitable solution, being very competitive both in terms
of environment and cost.
There is a rise in energy prices and society demands innovative ways to treat waste, because:
- Oil prices are rising;
- Electricity prices are rising;
- Since energy prices are rising, treating waste is only economic if it creates energy.

Innovative waste treatment, like the new configuration off the Wet oxidation process is needed, because:
- Population density is rising;
- Land is getting increasingly expensive;
- Transportation costs are rising due to rising oil and labour prices;
- Increasing demand for waste treatment in urban areas requires innovative but proven ways to treat waste.
